Website Privacy Policy
and data practices.
This policy describes the information associated with website use, browser-based appointment tools and communications initiated through external services.
Appointment answers and Artie messages stay in the current page unless you choose an external communication action. This website has no patient account or form-entry database. Opening the prepared WhatsApp link passes its draft text to WhatsApp; the clinic receives the message when you send it. Website hosting and the embedded Google map can receive technical browsing data separately.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the public website operated for Dr. Ranjith's Dental Art, Opposite PWD Quarters, Prakash Nagar, 1st Cross Road, Dinnur, Hosur, Tamil Nadu. “The clinic”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Dr. Ranjith's Dental Art. It explains website browsing and communications you initiate from this site.
The clinic is the contact for enquiries and personal information it receives. The website developer supplies the website interface; the appointment and Artie features do not send your entries to a separate developer database. Hosting providers may process technical data to deliver and secure the site.
Clinical records, prescriptions, diagnostic images, consent forms and invoices created during care are separate from this website and are subject to applicable clinical, professional and legal duties.
What may be processed
Appointment requests
The appointment builder uses your name, new or returning patient status, selected concern and specialist, preferred date and time, and any phone number, locality, discomfort details, pain score, symptom duration, comfort preferences or notes you choose to provide. Health details can be sensitive; include only what is necessary to request a visit.
Answers are held in the current page, not in this website's local storage or a clinic website database. You can go back to edit answers before continuing. Closing the appointment window does not clear its answers during that page visit. Reloading or closing the page normally clears them, although your browser may retain autofill or restore a session.
When you open WhatsApp, the prepared message is included in the WhatsApp link and is passed to that service before you press Send. It may also appear in browser history. The clinic receives it when you send it. WhatsApp then applies its own privacy practices. You can instead call the clinic or share fewer details.
Other communications and Artie
Contacting the clinic by phone, email, WhatsApp or Instagram may provide your contact details, profile information, messages or attachments to the clinic and the relevant service.
Artie uses pre-written responses in your browser. Its conversation is not sent to a remote AI service or a clinic chat database by this website. Artie does not diagnose or provide individual clinical advice. External actions offered in the conversation have their own data handling.
Technical data and embedded maps
Hosting, delivery and security services may process IP addresses, browser or device information, requested pages, referring pages, timestamps and security logs. The website uses locally hosted fonts and assets and contains no advertising or analytics tracking script of its own. Hosting services may keep operational logs independently.
The Google map is embedded in the page. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google, which may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. This can happen without clicking a directions button. Browser controls can block third-party content; the clinic's written address and telephone number remain available.
Browser preferences
Your Classic blue or Beige theme choice is saved in local storage until you clear this site's browser data. Session storage records whether section entrance effects have played. These preferences do not contain appointment answers or chat messages. Clearing browser data resets them.
Why information may be used
Information provided to the clinic is used to respond to requests, arrange visits, communicate about care and carry out related clinic administration. Technical information supports website delivery, maintenance and security. Clinical and financial records may also be needed to meet applicable professional, accounting or legal obligations.
Preparing an appointment request is not consent to treatment, marketing or publication of your photograph. Where consent is required for a purpose, it must be obtained separately. You may withdraw consent by contacting the clinic; this does not invalidate earlier lawful processing or remove a duty to retain particular records.
How long information may be kept
This website does not keep appointment answers or Artie messages in a website database. Browser preferences remain as described above. Communications you send can be retained by the clinic and the chosen provider.
Retention of clinic information depends on the purpose, type of record and applicable clinical, tax or other legal requirements. Ask the clinic about the period relevant to your information. When information is no longer needed and no applicable duty requires retention, it should be securely deleted or anonymised. External services control their own retention schedules.
Reasonable safeguards
The website does not request passwords, payment PINs or one-time passwords and does not take payments online. Do not include those details or unnecessary identity or medical documents in messages. On shared devices, close your messaging account and clear browser history when appropriate.
No website or messaging channel can guarantee absolute security. The clinic and its providers are responsible for safeguards required for information under their control. If you suspect misuse, an incorrect recipient or a security incident, contact the clinic promptly using the details below.
Access, correction and concerns
Subject to applicable law and proportionate identity verification, you may ask about information the clinic holds, request access or correction, request erasure where retention is not required, withdraw consent for processing that depends on it, or raise a privacy grievance.
Send the clinic enough detail to identify your request, without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. The clinic may need further verification or explain a lawful limit on a request, including another person's rights or required record retention. Statutory complaint and regulatory remedies remain available where applicable.
You may choose telephone or in-person contact instead of online messaging, leave optional fields blank, clear stored preferences, and use your browser's controls for third-party maps and cookies. These choices do not prevent you from asking the clinic for care.
Parent or guardian involvement
Appointment and communication features are for adults arranging care for themselves or someone they are authorised to assist. A parent or lawful guardian should manage a child's enquiry. The clinic may need to verify authority and obtain any consent required by applicable law. Do not submit information about a child or another person without appropriate authority.
Public-facing patient content
Attributed patient reviews on the site reflect individual experiences and may not reflect later edits to the original Google listing. Contact the clinic to request a review of an attribution, correction or removal from this website. Changes to the original Google review must be handled through Google.
Consent to care or an appointment request does not authorise publication of identifiable clinical photographs. Such publication needs appropriate permission and a lawful basis. Requests concerning published patient information can be made using the contact details below.
Questions or privacy requests
For privacy requests or grievances, contact the clinic using the details below and ask for the person responsible for privacy matters. Include “Privacy request” or “Privacy grievance” in the email subject and a way to reach you.
This policy may change when website features, providers or applicable requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Changes do not create consent for a new purpose; additional notice or consent will be provided where required. Contact the clinic if you need clarification about a change.
